We chose this combination through oodles of scientific research. In other words we simply asked all of you what you wanted more of (it's vaguely scientific!). And the top top requests were, Rioja and Sauvignon Blanc. So we thought sod it, let's combine the two, crazy as it sounds.
The result: six velvety smooth Riojas & friends, and six explosive, fresh Sauvignons. Guaranteed to make the festive season go with a zing.
Only problem will be keeping to just one case - because when you look at the average cost of these two styles, it's tough to get change out of a tenner per bottle. Yet we've stuck twelve winners in a case for under a £100. We must be mad.
More than just a label, when we say ‘prestige’ we mean ‘prestige’. And boy oh boy does this delicious Loire Sauvignon deserve its name...
Classic, refined and dry. This wine is practically a Sancerre. Except it’s not. Because that would be illegal.
91% of 28,000 Angels told us they loved the previous Villebois vintages and would definitely buy them again. Well the good news is that Joost has surpassed himself and the 2011 are the BEST yet and ready for drinking right NOW...
What makes Carlos such a cracking winemaker for Naked is that he isn't tied to just one winery. Which means he can choose only the grapes that really get him all excited (in the pure wine sense that is).
It also allows him to bargain like crazy, which means you get top class Crianza for a decent price, delivering wonderful fresh strawberry fruits, with lovely young, vibrant creamy oak flavours guaranteed to get the tastebuds tingling.
Great quality Rioja without a massive price tag! It's a medal winner too, scooping a Silver at the Concours Mondial.
A Crianza is a Rioja aged for at least two years (at least one of which was in oak). This process gives the wine a silky, classy character which combined with a shot of pure crushed strawberry fruit delivers in spades.
Multi Award winning Gorka is behind this wine, he comes highly rated by Robert Parker (a top wine critic, dontchya know!)

Tastes like a Reserva because this Rioja has been aged in American Oak for 10 months, which means it has delicious, creamy vanilla oak flavours married with wonderful rich raspberry and strawberry fruit flavours. Its borderline orgasmic.
Angel funding paid for the oak barrels that made this wine taste so good... and because it had your support it is great value too!
Fresher than a teenager with their first crush, this little beaut of a Sav Blanc takes crispness to a new level with its utterly captivating gooseberry notes and zingy, tingly finish.Pure lush.
Juan the winemaker doesn't believe in wasting money on pointless marketing nonsense. Neither do we, so its a match made in heaven that results in a ridiculously good value white.
Youth may be wasted on the young, but not on Sauvignon Blanc. The only way to drink this variety when it's from the New World is straight off the boat and straight into the glass.
If you think this tastes like a Rioja, you'd be right. For the simple reason that it is a Rioja, except in name. All because the Spanish government likes to keep Rioja supplies artificially low.
Which makes this wine the ultimate bargain. If this said 'Rioja' on the label it would cost you twice as much. Even though the juice inside would stay the same. Crazy, eh?
We know our customers are smart cookies. Which means this 'Rioja that isn't a Rioja and is half the price of a Rioja' will be shooting off the shelves.
A zippy little number wearing Carmen Miranda's fruit hat.
Conni and Felipe have been working with Angel funding for years now in the UK market, so they've long abandoned branding, sales, marketing, and all the other stuff you can't taste. All their wines are 100% naked and that means you get a better wine at a better price!
But you have to jump on this offer soon because the UK might snap up the rest of their 2011 production if we dilly dally too long.
Because Carlos works as consultant winemaker for several leading wineries, he has the pick of amazing grapes from all over Spain. And of course, he only picks the best! Which is why this cheeky little red is on our list.
Young, fruity and fresh, this tastes, literally, like a bowl of strawberries and cream. It is the veritable Little Black Dress of wine. Any place, any time, any occasion.
At this price you can afford to drink Morum every day. So you might as well start now!
Stephen de Wet never lets us down. His Arabella red is a tour de force and this Sauvignon Blanc under the same label is suitably on par.
With its ripe crisp apples and slightly white peach quality, it's a total crowd pleaser, as attested by 91% of the nearly 14,000 that have tasted it so far. Can't say fairer than that.
If you're cracking out the smoked salmon or paying homage to a bit of shellfish, this is your bottle.
You will be charged the Angel price on any wines you pay cash for. And any leftover CashBack or vouchers
will come off the full price, in the normal way.
