The very best winemakers in the country have noticed our growth and some have even started working exclusively for us (Rubicon, Grange, etc.), and we're also gaining the attention of the up and coming US wine drinking audience that's hungry for a smarter way to shop for wine, at the intersection of the famous 3 C's: content, community and commerce.

As a Merchandizer and Business Analyst, you will help to define and drive projects to support the growth, stability and performance of business as whole. The Merchandizer and Business Analyst will support the merchandizing and business operations activities for the U.S.

The ideal candidate will be self-disciplined and motivated in an environment that requires creativity and strong attention to detail.

The Merchandizer and Business Analyst is responsible for...

  • Support ecommerce merchandizing strategy across customer channels.
  • Develop and maintain product offers on site.
  • Manage product lifecycle post bottling.
  • Manage stock across warehouses responding to run rates and marketing campaign needs.
  • Interface with warehouse team to ensure prompt response and efficient processes.
  • Manage and distribute automated reports across new customer acquisition and repeat customer performance.
  • Pull data from database and analyze to gain insights for merchandizing and marketing activities and performance.
  • Other ad hoc data analysis of customer and order data.

Specific requirements for the role...

  • BA degree in business or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2 years working within marketing or operations departments.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and basic modeling.
  • Comfortable with data sets and using them to solve problems.
  • Ability to learn new software tools quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes in priorities and scope.
  • Results-driven, innovative thinker.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to create and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extra Credit: experience with SQL.
  • Extra Credit: Experience with data analysis tools, i.e.

In addition to the key attributes listed above, we are looking for a funny, wine-loving individual who:

  • Doesn't crack under pressure (i.e. laughs, doesn't cry) when holding 12 plates that are spinning at the same time, while standing on the tip of a rocket at launch.
