Leigh Meyering DeliciousLeigh Red Wine Sonoma County 2013
About the wine
Big Bordeaux-style red
- A blend of 5 different grapes traditionally grown in Bordeaux! Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with 14% Malbec, 2% Petit Verdot and 2% Cab Franc.
- 2013 was a perfect vintage to craft a rich, dense wine with layers of dark fruit and even darker chocolate. And Leigh runs a Napa wine laboratory, so she was in a perfect spot to see the highest quality fruit this year.
- Angel funding allowed Leigh to snap up the very best fruit and take the time nature needs to age a big delicious Bordeaux-styled red.
