Dominic Hentall Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2011
About the wine
.
- This is serious, Burgundian Pinot Noir. When people talk about good French Pinot, they're talking about wine like this.
- These grapes come from three equally expensive 1st Cru village areas in Burgundy, but it won't say 1st Cru on the bottle because Dom blended them together and the French don't like that! The result is a fantastic blend of premium grapes at half the price the wine would normally fetch.
- Thousands of Angels tasted this wine before it was even bottled and you'll want to grab some before those Angels empty our stock entirely.

Meet the winemaker - Dominic Hentall
Years Angel funded: 2012-2023
- For over twenty years, Dom has been a flying winemaker producing wines in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, USA, France, Italy, Spain, New Zealand, South Africa and Uruguay!
- But he's done working with big wine corporations and wants the freedom to highlight parcels of grapes that typify the region and bring out the best in quality and elegance.
- Dom makes top-notch international wines – focusing on Italian wines for Angels – at remarkably low prices.
