Jim Olsen Shoot the Moon Red Blend Napa Valley 2015
About the wine
This decadent Napa red softly whispers "sweet!"
- Ripe, complex, bold and softly sweet – who knew such a wine could exist?! The King of unique reds went and made a wine you won't find anywhere else.
- Jim's latest juicy Bordeaux blend is luxurious, thanks to Napa fruit and expensive oak barrels. But the cherry on top? The teeny hint of sweetness Jim added to the finish.
- Honestly, this was a bold idea. But Jim's results are jaw-droppingly good! Angels gave him the freedom to make this red totally unique... it might just be the next big thing. What do you think?

Years Angel-funded: 2012-18

- Before Naked, he worked mainstream jobs like La Crema and held quirkier side gigs - like growing Portuguese grapes in Californian soil.
- Jim spent decades in California cellars. At Naked, he found the most surprising deals for Angels - delighting you with Winemaker Fantasy wines (like White Barbera!) as a true champion of the rare varieties and vineyards in the state.
