- Stephen’s Winter Cab is the seasonal offshoot of the highest-rated Cabernet on the site – his very own Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon. Your funding helped Stephen give this wintery Cabernet an extra-special touch of oaky spice and a powerful, velvety punch from a splash of Cabernet Franc.
- “My Winter Cab only makes an appearance when the fall turns to winter and we need to hunker down in front of the fire,” Stephen says. “And when the winter's gone, so is my wine.” So make sure you treat yourself to a bottle or two while supplies last!

This Black Label Winter Cabernet is meant to be enjoyed now, but will also take some age if you want to let its flavors develop even more over a few months or even years.
Serving advice
When you first open it up give it 30 minutes or so to let it air out and open up. Or you could hurry it up and use an aerator. Either way, with just a little patience it's going to taste great.
Food match
When it comes to pairing something up with my Winter Cab I always think of sliced aged cheeses and dry cured salami. Or you could go with something from the grill. I always like those dinosaur-sized rib bones taken from a prime rib roast.

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
