i-Latina La Armonia Vineyard Petit Verdot 2017
About the wine
A rare, decadent delight - from Irene's own vineyard
- Harvested from her Andean Piedmont estate, Irene's Petit Verdot is prime time – luxurious, inky, full of dark, juicy cherries, richness and depth. This grape is typically used to beef up other wines, but thanks to Angel funding...
- ...Irene can introduce this intense red to the world! "Very few Petit Verdots are bottled as single-variety reds," she says. "This was an opportunity of a lifetime. Now it's yours to taste!"
- An underground red like this is a conversation starter. You'll want a few bottles on hand! But hurry – under 600 cases made.
Best before
It will age beautifully, because the robust and intense tannins, but the fruit and aromas that you have at the present stage are intense, interesting, complex and unique. I suggest to taste one bottle young and keep another for 5 years!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Irene Paiva
Irene had a hand in most of the top wines in Chile. As a pioneering women winemaker in South America, she's cited in loads of wine curriculum books across the world for her influence in the region!
Being an independent winemaker in Chile is rare, and Irene leads the way. With over 20 years of experience, she is a highly sought-after winemaking consultant and manages her own vineyard estate...
... that’s where her Angel-funded wines come from. She’s made wines for Chile's big names (including San Pedro and Sena, Robert Mondavi’s Chilean brand with Eduardo Chadwick) but her very favorite consultant is YOU.
