About the wine
A bold and spicy Californian Zin with Old World attitude
- A bit of Old World polish brought out the best of the inky, bold and spicy Zin. It's a totally different flavor than the fruit bombs that put Lodi on the map- and we're stoked about it
- JC is very very proud of how subtle and refined this Zin has become. And what's incredible is it doesn't cost a whole lot more to make it extra special!
- This Zin's got all the secret ingredients for a perfect BBQ wine - a firm body, ripe fruit, and a nice zing that can cut through that thick tangy grilling sauce!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - JC van Staden
- JC is an all-star in California's Central Valley with a hand in producing many of the award-winning wines in the area like the Peltier Station Teroldego that unhooked a couple gold medals and a "Best of Class" award last vintage.
- His job lets him spot great fruit that stands out, so he separates that to make great wine that always overdelivers.
- We're really excited to have a Lodi winemaker who specializes in big, beefy reds because these are typically expensive-styled wines, but he's delivering them at really impressive prices.
