Jim Olsen Dessert Wine California 2012
About the wine
Hefty fortified wine in a Port-style
- DEEE-licious inky Port-styled dessert wine. Hearty, warm and guaranteed to end your meal in style.
- Jim's first Californian fortified wine is older than most of our Angels – he's had this passion for a while and has the experience to make a delicious fortified blend.
- Our Angels have been clamoring for a dessert wine, so I hardly need to explain – get a piece of cheese with some character and open up a bottle of Jim's Dessert wine. You won't be disappointed.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Jim Olsen
Years Angel-funded: 2012-18
- Jim didn't just study wine at the University of California, he taught about it for 30 years.
- Before Naked, he worked mainstream jobs like La Crema and held quirkier side gigs - like growing Portuguese grapes in Californian soil.
- Jim spent decades in California cellars. At Naked, he found the most surprising deals for Angels - delighting you with Winemaker Fantasy wines (like White Barbera!) as a true champion of the rare varieties and vineyards in the state.
