Mike Paterson Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017
About the wine
Refreshing, zingy white from New Zealand's famous wine region
Between the juicy citrus flavors and light, crisp finish – Mike’s fresh-squeezed Sauvignon Blanc is the simply-slurpable white to have on hand these late summer months.
From 90+ point wines to heading up a top New Zealand winery, Mike’s earned his share of merits. But making wine for Angels is what he loves most – 'cause you let him craft his dream wines.
What better way to spend the last stretch of summer than with a frosty glass of Mike’s indie Sauv, a few fresh-shucked oysters and warm sunset?

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Mike Paterson
- Mike used to be the Head Winemaker at one of New Zealand's finest, most prestigious Sauvignon Blanc wineries.
- He loved the job, but he also loved the idea of fulfilling his life-long dream of going it alone. Only problem was, the financial equation was "beyond scary" (as Mike put it!).
- That's where we (and our 100,000 Angels) stepped in. We've funded Mike to go it alone on one tiny, simple, lovely condition: he makes you some absolute stunners in the wine department. And from what we've tasted so far he's been true to his word...
