Miriam California Chardonnay 2019
About the wine
Creamy, easy-sipping oak-aged Chardonnay from the heart of Lodi
- Fresh, lively and bursting with bright fruity flavors like green apple, this Chardonnay is an easy-sipping summery delight, backed by a creamy, mouth-filling texture from special lees stirring and oak aging.
- Thanks to your Angel funding, Best-of-Class winemaker Alex Farber was able to craft this juicy Chardonnay from top-notch Lodi grapes, harvested at night to keep them perfectly cool, preserving every ounce of ripe fruit flavor for the finished wine.
- This refreshing Chardonnay is a one-off project for Alex, just in time to cap off the summer. For a world-class easy-sipper at under $10 a bottle – you can’t beat this Chardonnay!
Best before
This is a wine that I'd allow to settle for a little bit once it is received. Then I would pop a bottle or two in your fridge and enjoy it with an al fresco meal this summer!
Serving advice
Chill this wine down prior to opening it up, you'll be really happy you did and then allow the wine to warm up in the glass as you enjoy it.
Food match
I will be enjoying this lively Chardonnay with an abundance of salads and cold noodle dishes. It would work great with a nice grilled chicken or fish meal as well.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Alex Farber
- Alex's first job out of winemaking school was for a famous Napa Valley winery. She absorbed its classic traditions and techniques, but she knew her own dream – to make classic wines joyous and modern – would be years away.
- Most young winemakers have to work 10, 15, even 20 years to earn a Winemaker title. Alex's big dreams weren't going to wait, so she asked Angels for a jumpstart, and they launched her into the big leagues.
- It was a clever investment. Not only is Alex one of Naked's top winemakers, she's earned Best in Class, Double Gold and Gold medals for her independent wines produced with your support. And she's just getting started!
