This rich red is delicious now and will also develop more savory flavors over the next few years, for drinkers who like complexity over younger fruit-forward flavors.
Serving advice
There's no need to decant this vibrant red, simply serve it at around 60º-64ºF.
Food match
This is a great red to have with almost anything off the barbecue -- or "barbie" as they say Down Under. The sweet spicy oak note is a good match for some char, or even some hickory smoke if that's your thing. Spare ribs, sausages and a glass of Cab Shiraz with family and friends is a dream come true!
