About the wine
Go Rogue with Scott's debut Oregon Cabernet
Robust, yet vibrant – with flavors like ripe red plums and juicy Northwest cherries – and an irresistibly smooth finish. Once you taste this Cabernet, you’ll understand Scott’s life-changing wine moment when he traded in Pinot for a bolder Rogue red.
With your support, Scott created a complex, elegant and expressive Cabernet with layers of flavor, harvested from 5 vineyards throughout Rogue Valley – southern Oregon’s warmest and driest winegrowing region – each with its own microclimate and character you have to taste to believe.
Scott couldn’t have made Naked’s first and only Oregon Cabernet without you. This is a stark contrast to Napa's champion red that really sings with Pacific Northwest attitude. Be the first to go Rogue with Scott and taste the difference!
Best before
I made this to enjoy now. Relish the fresh, red fruit qualities. For those who prefer a wine that's softer with dried fruit flavors, this will age up to 7 years.
Serving advice
Serve slighter cooler than room temperature to release intricate aromas and flavors. There is no need to decant. Open and enjoy with friends as soon as you get the chance!
Food match
Enjoy with your favorite cut of steak, steelhead trout, salmon, portobello mushrooms and aged cheddar.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Scott Steingraber
After having a wine moment with an Oregon Cabernet Sauvignon, Scott and his family went all in in 2006 – never looking back – buying a ranch in Rogue Valley where they planted vineyards from scratch.
Scott’s made wine from different areas for over 25 years – but Southern Oregon’s warmest and driest region won his heart. There, he can make his beloved Cabernet Sauvignon and other varieties – his way. The Rogue Valley isn’t Oregon Pinot country – it’s something new – and spectacular.
Because of you, Scott can focus on making gems like Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Viognier for Angels who would not have discovered them otherwise – while supporting his dream of making Oregon wines future-forward in many ways – his production facility is even 100% solar powered! Win-win.
