Hearts & Bones Icon Margaret River Chardonnay 2015
About the wine
Smells like a bakery, tastes like a dream
- The latest from Australian winemaker Stuart Pym, the fruit for this vintage is sourced from four vineyards in the southern parts of the Margaret River. Each location adds more and more complexity.
- This wine has been made in the traditional Burgundian technique, using French oak to make the wine layered, flavorsome and complex– and give it the power to age oh-so-gracefully.
- Enjoy this buttery, citrusy Chardonnay now and over the next 10 years - it's truly a stunner!
Best before
This wine will age up to 10 years, for those so inclined. Fortunately, it will also drink very nicely in its youth. I have already done some of the ageing for you.
Serving advice
Do not chill too much, use a wide glass, pour in a reasonable serve, and then drunk it over a reasonable period. If you have good friends that appreciate good wine, share it with them.
Food match
Char grilled Margaret River marron, with polenta chips, and a green salad.
Contains sulphites
