Timothy Olson Pinot Noir California 2015
About the wine
Tastes like a $35 Pinot Noir but it's a third of that price!
- Tim's latest Pinot Noir carries on as a classic. It's full of aromas like cherry and wild strawberries, and worth every scrumptious little sip.
- While made primarily from Central Valley vineyards, it tastes like a coastal Pinot in the best of ways. This is a well-made wine with lots of complexity and elegance.
- In the "real world" this wine would retail for $35 to $40 (and that's how much Tim used to sell his wines for before Angel funding gave him wings and let him make this wine without any of the wasted marketing and sales costs.)
Best before
Drink it now, it's made to be enjoyed young. Save a bottle for 6 to 12 months just to see how it ages.
Serving advice
Yes, open and enjoy. It will drink well on its own but will also pair nicely with a range of foods.
Food match
Salmon, margherita pizzas and lighter pastas. Salud!
