- Thanks to your support, Tom says, “We hit the jackpot this vintage!” Your funding helped him source his choice of pristine, luscious Merlot then blend it with decadent Cab Franc for a powerful smoothness and even a little Petite Verdot for a splash of bright fruit. He finally capped it off with a bit of aging in French Oak to magnify every nuance of rich, elegant flavor.

The wine is enjoyable now and will continue to be delicious for 3-5 years at least if stored properly.
Serving advice
As with most young reds, this wine will benefit from some aeration. Try to open your bottle at least 30 minutes before serving, and pour a little into a glass. "Swirl and sniff every 10 minutes or so," Tom says. "You'll know when to taste!"
Food match
Tom's dream meal with this Merlot is roast lamb loin chops or rack of lamb seasoned with Cavender's Greek seasoning and cooked medium rare, with roasted potatoes and asparagus seared in brown butter.
