Pinot Noir from Sonoma is one of my go-to favorites and Scott definitely doesn't disappoint. By allocating some of the best, most concentrated fruit from Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast, Scott has created an elegantly smooth Pinot Noir that should find its way to your doorstep as soon as possible. I experienced aromas of cranberry and clove with notes of pomegranate, crimini mushroom, and forest floor on the palette with a silky, smooth finish. I tasted this with Scott and the entire Naked team about a month ago, so I can only imagine that the wine has developed with even more structure since then. If you are not aware, Pinot Noir is one of the most difficult varietals to grow, maintain, and then make into a successful wine. Scott has really gone out of his way to meticulously attend to this challenging grape from choosing the right vineyards to aging it in 25% new oak. This wine will sell fast so I'd pop a few of these bad boys in your basket at your earliest convenience! It's on my to-do list today!
