Eduardo Casademont's Story
Eduardo Casademont's Story
"Rather than the story of my life, I want to share with you my feelings towards what I do for living.
Since I was a kid I always felt attracted to our mother nature, I really enjoyed being in the outdoors, in farms, vineyards and mountains. But I was specially interested in vineyards, where the grape was born and (by that time I believed it was kind of magic) was later transformed into a liquid which was present in every "asado" (argentinian word for barbecue) table, where people got together with family and friends.
So this curiosity, added to my passion for green spaces, drove me to study to become a Winemaker. I became one in 1987 and by that time I had this feeling: "Making wines is a passion which inspires my soul". It may sound kind of an exaggeration, but let me tell you it is not, I think being a winemaker is a way of life, not just a job.
So, as you know, I am now working with Finca Las Moras, and I am really proud of our work. We are obtaining great quality wines taking care of our environment: "Wines in harmony with the earth", that is what we believe in. Two times Best Producer in IWSC, and the same prize in Selections Mondial des vins Canada this year, made me believe we are on the right path.
Sincerely, I hope you will all enjoy our wines. Part of our Argentinian culture is transmitted in our wines, and I find really exciting the fact that people all around the world are starting to discover it.
Salud!"
