About the wine
Portuguese-inspired red crafted with powerful California flair
This fruit-forward, full-bodied red is flush with dark flavors like blackberry and plum, with a soft touch of mocha and barrel-aged spice that lingers through a long, velvety finish.
With the help of Angel funding, Ana harvested Touriga Nacional from a tiny patch of vineyard growing deep in California’s Sierra Foothills. It turns out Portugal’s national grape grows impeccably here.
How Ana got so many complex, juicy and downright irresistible flavors into this delectable red is still a mystery. But there’s no better way to find out than by buying a few bottles and diving right in – try it alongside Ana’s fave, spaghetti carbonara.
Best before
This will age in your cellar up to 15 years.
Serving advice
Open 1-2 hours before serving, so all the aromas and flavors can fully emerge.
Food match
My heart skips a beat for homemade spaghetti carbonara. Also rich cheeses like Stilton/Roquefort/Gorgonzola - a match made in heaven - plus Italian dishes with homemade tomato sauce.
Contains sulphites
