Carlos Rodriguez Rioja Graciano 2014
About the wine
The best grape in Rioja is one you've never heard of
- Graciano is an indigenous grape in the world famous Rioja region, but less than 1% of the Rioja you find in the US is made of Graciano, a unique grape that makes spicy red somewhere in between Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
- Carlos used Angel funding to defy conventional wisdom and showcase this beautiful grape. It would never sell in the traditional distribution channels, but it's going to sell like hot cakes to Angels.
- If you love Rioja this is a MUST try, with mouthwateringly ripe fruit and bags of character. Pour a big glass to go with rich meat like marbled beef or porkchops.
