Carlos Rodriguez Rioja Graciano 2015
About the wine
The best grape in Rioja is one you've never heard of
- Graciano is an indigenous grape in the world famous Rioja region, but less than 1% of the Rioja you find in the US is made of Graciano, a unique grape that makes spicy red somewhere in between Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
- Carlos used Angel funding to defy conventional wisdom and showcase this beautiful grape. It would never sell in the traditional distribution channels, but it sells like hot cakes to Angels.
- If you love Rioja, this is a MUST try, with mouthwateringly ripe fruit and bags of character. Pour a big glass to go with rich meat like marbled beef or pork chops.
