CURRENT VINTAGE

Wine Of The Week

    • Righty ho. It's wintertime and we're all brassmonkeys. So what we need is a really big, full-on, no holds barred chunk of lovely red wine to keep us going through the dark nights. Well, look no bloomin further. You've found it. Or rather we did, from Portugal.
    • It has the classic, big, creamy, vanilla oak flavours of a Rioja, but its fruit - akin to pure globules of blackberry jam - is nearer top class claret.
    • Most importantly it's an angel-funded wine, so stupidly inexpensive.
