About the wine
Majestic, mouthwatering single-vineyard Washington Malbec
- This mighty red is a Malbec lover’s must-have, swimming in dangerously delicious dark fruit, like a bite of ripe, brambly berries, all wrapped up in a slippery-smooth texture and oh-so-long and luscious finish.
- Sourced from a single high-end vineyard on the Washington side of the esteemed Walla Walla Valley, the grapes for your Malbec grew just a few rows over from grapes that go in to $70 bottles of wine.
- Dave’s your unmatched wizard of Washington wine – he knew just where to find a Malbec this massive and how to bring it to you for an absolute fraction of the price!
Best before
It is pretty firm and will get better over 10 years, but drinkable now!
Serving advice
Decant for about 20 minutes and it's ready.
Food match
I really love Malbec with leg of lamb kabobs. Marinate leg of lamb cubes with red onion in olive oil, soy, garlic and mint. Prepare it a day or two ahead in a Ziploc and cook it over the fire while camping!!!
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Dave Harvey
You freed a powerhouse Washington winemaker – Dave Harvey is quite the catch.
With your backing, he's combing the state – from the Columbia Valley river basin to southern Walla Walla – to make Northwest classics (and seriously shocking red blends, too... like his signature GSMmm Syrah!)
He's already clinched a Decanter award for the “Best Rhône varietal wine in the world.” Mark our words - now that Dave has Angel funding, that’s just a drop in the bucket.
