Dunnolly Estate Waipara Pinot Noir 2017
About the wine
Robust, single-vineyard Pinot - from the heart of Waipara
- It's the fresh, medium-bodied red you know and love – with extra body and a lot of soul. Every glass is loaded with tummy-warming spices and rich fruits, like fresh plums and ripe cherries.
- Aiming for an intense Pinot Noir with a feminine twist, Nicky and her incredible Waipara team have simply nailed it. Single-vineyard quality Pinot for $16.99?! It's nuts – kudos to you for making it possible.
- Do yourself a favor and grab a couple of these bottles – it's a special treasure from the Dunnolly's that you're guaranteed to love for years to come.
Best before
We have bottled aged this wine in New Zealand, so it is ready to be enjoyed straight away but will only improve over time.
Serving advice
Please open 30-60 mins before pouring.
Food match
My new favorite recipe to serve with this wine is slow-cooked lamb shoulder, marinated for 24 hours in rosemary & parsley. Served with creamy mashed potatoes and steamed greens! This wine also works really well with a cheese platter shared with family and friends. Enjoy!

- Meet Nicky and Peter... Nicky is the winemaker and Peter is the grower. They are father and daughter – and combined, they have over 50 years of experience in the wine industry.
- Making wine from the Waipara Valley, situated in North Canterbury on the South Island of NZ. Nicky's winemaking passions are crisp whites and Pinot Noir.
- For 10 years they grew grapes for the best producers in New Zealand (like Pegasus Bay), but a few years ago, they put their own name on the grapes when the vines hit their peak. Now Angels are helping Nicky and Peter continue their Dunnolly dream!
