About the wine
Show-stealing Shiraz from a single Lodi vineyard
- Stephen's dangerously drinkable Shiraz hails from a single-vineyard Lodi estate that grows oodles of dark and juicy fruit.
- If you've never heard of Lodi, you have to check it out. This region is just a little off the beaten path, but it's producing sensational wines at very un-Californian prices.
- You'll open this when you just want to relax in the afternoon. Stick your nose in a glass and breathe in deep. This exotic, berry-packed red smells better than any perfume.
Best before
My FSM Shiraz is made for the long haul so cellaring a couple of years will make it blossom into an even better wine.
Serving advice
This is a Shiraz, by the way, and Shiraz can really suck up the oxygen. I've known a few people like that too. So the best strategy is to open them up and let them vent, then prepare for a really great relationship. Am I talking wines or friends? Aren't they really the same?
Food match
I've really come to enjoy my Shiraz with anything plus sauces either brown or red. That and some hard cheeses with fresh made breads. Enjoy the good times.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
