About the wine
Eureka - the real gold is in Amador
This Reserve Zinfandel is from California's gold country - dark, delicious and lush fruit abound. But we all know the real national treasure is Stephen Millier.
He's Naked's 3-time Winemaker of the Year, and the first US winemaker Angels funded back in 2012. Stephen rules Calaveras and Amador - he travels every back country road to make you wines that get more scrumptious every year.
Black Label Zin was made possible after hundreds of thousands of you rated his first wines - and demanded more. If you thought you'd already had the top wine he makes... just taste.
Best before
I recently opened a bottle of my 2018 Amador Zinfandel. It was a superb dinner companion.
Serving advice
I'd open this bottle just about the time I fire up the grill.
Food match
I love braised meats cooked with carrots, onions, potatoes, mushrooms and a wee bit of my favorite Zinfandel. Delish by itself, outrageous with my Zin!

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
