About the wine
Refined Reserve Cab from Irene's very own estate
- This classic Chilean Cab is big, bold and bursting with dark, brooding flavors from rich, ripe cherry to brambly raspberry, backed by a touch of oaky spice and an unimaginable smoothness.
- Irene’s top-tier fruit comes straight from her own estate in the heart of Chile’s Curico Valley, where world-class Cab grows like a charm.
- For a Cab this powerful and young, make sure you give it plenty of time to breathe after popping the cork, to let every nuance of flavor open up. Then pair a glass or two with a juicy top sirloin or savory barbecue and you’re all set!
Best before
It ages nicely, so keep a bottle with patience, but because of its bold and smooth tannins, it is great to drink now to see the fresh fruit from the Molina-Andes terroir too!
Serving advice
Give it some time before drinking, letting it breathe for about 30 to 60 minutes.
Food match
Barbecues, red meats, pasta, home made food. Some chocolate desserts are great too!
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Irene Paiva
Irene had a hand in most of the top wines in Chile. As a pioneering women winemaker in South America, she's cited in loads of wine curriculum books across the world for her influence in the region!
Being an independent winemaker in Chile is rare, and Irene leads the way. With over 20 years of experience, she is a highly sought-after winemaking consultant and manages her own vineyard estate...
... that’s where her Angel-funded wines come from. She’s made wines for Chile's big names (including San Pedro and Sena, Robert Mondavi’s Chilean brand with Eduardo Chadwick) but her very favorite consultant is YOU.
