Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.

About the wine
Pick Picpoul as your go-to summer white!
- You may be familiar with Picpoul from its native France, but this Sierra Foothills rendition will wow you with vibrant flavors like ripe peach, zesty citrus and juicy tropical fruits.
- Picpoul piqued Matt’s interest – it’s his favorite white – and Angel funding gave him access to grapes from Amador County’s Lynman Vineyards, where rich, volcanic soils and higher elevations lead to an intensely aromatic and flavorful wine
- This is Naked’s only stateside Picpoul – an outstanding example of how delicious this variety can be at a fraction of the market cost!
Best before
Drink young while it is fresh - within 6 months of purchasing. Chill it slightly and enjoy!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Matt Michael
- Matt has spent over 2 decades making 90+ rated wines in Sonoma County at renowned wineries like Quivira Vineyards, Sebastiani, Robert Young and Baldassari, so he’s primed to make wines for you!
- Matt’s mission is to bring Angels lesser-known Mediterranean varieties like Picpoul, Barbera and Grenache. They’re unlikely heroes here in the states but really flourish in Amador County in California's Sierra Foothills. He’s pumped to show off what this region can do.
- Matt first met Angels in 2020 as a recipient of Naked’s COVID Relief Fund. You helped him stay on his feet when his Windsor tasting room was closed. Fast forward – now Matt’s working with premium grapes from one of California’s finest under-the-radar appellations – his dream come true!
