Best before
This Zin is ready to be enjoyed now, but will also age gracefully for the next several years.
Serving advice
Sharon suggests not opening this wine on the day you receive it to let it recover from the shipping. When you do open it, she also recommends decanting it for 60 minutes prior to drinking to allow the flavors and aromatics to fully develop. This also helps soften the tannins and will give the wine a smoother taste. If you can, Sharon says to also let all her wines rest for a minimum of 2 weeks after receiving them to allow them to recover from the shipping. "The shipping really does impact the aromatics and flavors of the wine and does make a difference on how much you will enjoy your wines," she says.
Food match
BBQ red meats, lamb, roasted pork loin, dark turkey, cow and sheep cheeses are all perfect pairings with this robust red.

- Sharon's responsible for making some seriously great wines for others – thousands over her 30-year career. But she's always disappointed after the wine's shipped off... all that hard work, and she never hears what becomes of it!
- Now that you've made her an independent winemaker, she loves sharing her big, enthusiastic winemaking style with Angels – and hearing what you think!
