How do I even start to describe just how AMAZING this wine was?! I opened it while cooking supper the other night thinking I'd have a glass or two from cooking the meal to eating... that didn't happen as I almost finished the bottle by myself. It was heavenly!! That was the first time that I haven't been able to walk away from a bottle and save some for the next day. I'm kind of upset since I had taken my other bottle to our family's Thanksgiving supper rather than keeping it for myself. I told my husband that I was hoping his Aunt hadn't opened it since she only brings wine out for company. This was SO great that even though it was left as a sort of hostess gift, I would try to buy it back from her. 😉 The flavors were fantastic together, the right blend of fruit flavors, slight earthiness at the end, perfect sweetness that almost finishes completely clean and slightly crisp with a velvety soft mouth feel. I read mixed emotions as far as the sweetness, so I really wasn't sure what I was about to have when taking my first sip, but as usual, you never cease to amaze! It was like a gift from Heaven being poured into a glass (repeatedly) lol DEFINITELY my new favorite, by far! Had I known the extent of it's greatness, I would have ordered a case; and the only time I've purchased a case was Wayne Donaldson's bubbly. PLEASE, keep this in your arsenal of wines to make year to year, please! I'm totally not above begging! That's how phenomenal it was/is!
