About the wine
Alex's Best of Class-winning Chenin Blanc returns!
- Alex’s bright, crisp Chenin Blanc bursts with flavors of tangy, citrusy lemon zest and orange, all packed into a delectably smooth mouthfeel for the perfect sipper to start off your summer.
- This Chenin comes from the storied old vines of the “Prince Vineyard” in Clarksburg where, thanks to Angel funding, Alex was able to personally pick which blocks of grapes to use for this wine to bring you the lushest, fullest flavors possible.
- Alex’s last vintage of this Chenin just won Best of Class at the big SF Chronicle Wine Competition! Scoop up a few bottles of this new vintage and help her celebrate!

Serving advice
I like to drink this wine chilled down at least overnight, and then allow it to warm up in my glass as I am drinking it. The flavors change with the temperature of the wine.

This wine can really stand up against any dish. This year I will be pairing it with homemade poke bowls, all variations of pasta dishes, and appetizer plates.

Meet the winemaker - Alex Farber
- Alex's first job out of winemaking school was for a famous Napa Valley winery. She absorbed its classic traditions and techniques, but she knew her own dream – to make classic wines joyous and modern – would be years away.
- Most young winemakers have to work 10, 15, even 20 years to earn a Winemaker title. Alex's big dreams weren't going to wait, so she asked Angels for a jumpstart, and they launched her into the big leagues.
- It was a clever investment. Not only is Alex one of Naked's top winemakers, she's earned Best in Class, Double Gold and Gold medals for her independent wines produced with your support. And she's just getting started!
