- This is a powerful Napa Cabernet - doused in dark, supple fruit flavors, it has a French Oak backbone that will help it age a long while (and makes it ultra-luxurious now!)
- When your funding opened the door to high-end grapes grown right in the heart of Napa, Richard pulled out all the stops to craft the decadent Cabernet you deserve.
- Richard recommends patiently waiting a few years to enjoy to really let this big Cabernet shine - and this is the perfect starter wine to build up a library.
Best before
This Napa Cab is full bodied with dense tannins and ripe for cellaring - please age if you can! Think of my Napa Cabs as time capsules from which you can refer back to over the next 5 - 15 years or more.
Serving advice
This is a wine that should be decanted at any age to allow delicate oxidation and the aromas to evolve. Over years of cellaring (7+ years) I expect this wine to throw sediment. If you open an aged bottle, decant it over a light source.

A fine steak grilled medium rare, served with rosemary roasted potatoes, cipollini onions and wild mushrooms (Chanterelle and Porcini are favorites).

Meet the winemaker - Richard Bruno
Years Angel-funded: 2013-2023
- Richard Bruno is exactly what we love in a winemaker– the quiet achiever behind the scenes at some of the world's most famous wine brands. He's made wine for Francis Ford Coppola and Don Sebastiani, the latter of which was named Winery of the Year TWICE under his watch.
- During his decades making wine for famous wineries and earning them 90+ scores, he has traveled all up and down California's coastal wine regions. His experience and familiarity with the terrain allow him to sniff out the best-bang-for-buck pretty much anywhere in the state.
- Launching one's wine brand is hard and expensive, so Richard is using Angel funding – and he's able to focus on winemaking, instead of selling wine.

I just had the 2020 and loved it. Rich tannins, leathery with cherry and hint of spice. Very nice!!
Nose excellent. First taste was fantastic. Earthy, fruit phenominal after taste! A definite winner!

Lovely Cab! Just enjoyed it with some brats and potato salad. Bold yet very smooth. Not overpowering. I would definitely buy this one again!
