So many facets to this wine!

So I saved a bottle of this until yesterday: perfect pairing with a Moroccan lamb tagine. Smooth and silky with a slight peppery note that gave it some distinction. Worth buying a more recent vintage and cellaring.

Tempranillo is a new grape for me; I usually drink Cabernets and Pinor Noirs. I liked this wine very much. The first sip was a bit strange to me but then I let the glass air out a bit and all the delicious flavors greeted me warmly. It has gotten better during the past 3 days as I have been drinking about one glass a day. Holding up very well. It has won a place in my wine tasting heart.
April-May 2020. Recently finished another bottle of this wine and rate it as a 4.5 or a 5. I think it is even better than when I first tried it as one of 6 a couple years ago. It has aged very well. So very appreciative of this delicious and warm wonderful red wine during these days of being at home hunkered down and social distancing to avoid spreading or getting COVID19. Only wish I could share it with friends and family!
June 2020 third bottle this month. Equally wonderful. Would like to share but oh well, I am enjoying this superb, richly flavored delicious wine. I really like the Tempranillo wine grape. My only experience is Scott Kelley creations. Look forward to future vintages.
February 2021. My 4th bottle of the 2016 Tempranillo. Wish I'd bought more! This is now a 5! I see the 2018 is sold out as well. Will there be a 2019 or 2020? I want to preorder your next T vintage! Now I've tried NW's Spanish T vintner and prefer Scott's.

Great example of a tempranillo, balanced fruit and acidity and tannins!

After letting this wine sit for a couple of years we tasted and enjoyed it. It ages well and has a nice depth by comparison to when first purchased. Fruit forward with nose of cherry and bright red fruit, the flavor is bright and lingers nicely with jam and cherry on the tongue. A beautiful wine, though not a typical tempranillo.

On the nose, this wine is a superb pepper and plum that draws you in for the plum, leather, oak, tobacco, blackberry, and a hint of cherry, that will overcome your lingual sense with a delightful mix of dark red and purple seduction. The afternotes of smoke, red currant, and pepper, give a most satisfying sensation. I find this one of the most delightful wines I've ever had, and a more complex flavor than most tempranillo.
