Best before
This Verdelho is meant to be enjoyed while still young, as it is suited for early drinking. If consumed within the next year, it will retain its unique aromatics and crisp mouthfeel. This wine is what in California we call a “poolside sipper," or as Texans will marvelously put it, a "patio pounder."
Serving advice
I’d recommend drinking this wine between 50°F to 55°F. Once the bottle has been opened (and you've poured yourself a glass) let the bottle sit on the table instead of putting it on ice or back in the fridge. You'll see how the aromatic profile will truly come forward.
Food match
This wine would pair nicely with spicy food... I'm thinking of Thai food, spicy tuna rolls.
I also love it paired with pastas with cream sauces... Yummmm!
