About the wine
Single vineyard Chardonnay - creamy, toasty and complex
- David Akiyoshi tastes fruit from over 8,000 acres in Lodi every year – and he harvested the cream of the crop with this single-vineyard Chardonnay.
- Fragrant and inviting as a freshly baked cookie, with bits of spice from a special aging technique called sur-lie. This is the most complex Chardonnay you can find at this price.
- Make a big bowl of creamy, cheesy fettuccine and wash it down with this white. Your tastebuds will be singing flavor ballads.

Meet the winemaker - David Akiyoshi
- "Best of California" in 2012, David was Director of Winemaking for Robert Mondavi's Woodbridge for 25 years.
- He was at the helm of Lodi's largest winery and is a fastidious and dedicated winemaker, the kind you expect to find in the world's most competitive and prestigious wine regions.
- David is a master in an undiscovered region. If you like to taste the next big thing while it's still totally underground, he is your winemaker.
