I don't usually go for merlot, but I liked the winewaker's petit syrah a lot so I decided to try this one. I enjoyed this wine. Smooth drinking, blackberry and plum with some vanilla and woody notes.

Aged beautifully. Bright red fruit. Firm tannins. Not your typical Merlot but very good.

I prefer the Stephan Miller Angel Reserve Merlot which has more fruit and softer tanins
