About the wine
Karen lives 1/2 mile up the road from this Sauv vineyard - she knows it like the back of her hand!
- This Sauv is so zingy and refreshing, like the first bite of a juicy tangerine...
- All the fresh flavors inside are thanks to Karen picking grapes at just the right time - in the middle of the night, when the air is crisp and cold and all the juice is locked inside. Thank goodness this passionate winemaker is willing to start work at 3AM!
- Serve with vibrant salads or Mexican dishes loaded with avocado and lime to see this wine in action. Más pico de gallo, por favor...

- Karen Birmingham proved her incredible talent working for years at sustainable winery LangeTwins (with David Akiyoshi).
- Angel funding has helped her start her own project featuring breathtaking grape varieties many Lodi wineries are afraid of playing with!
- Karen's delicate touch always brings out the best in the fruit (she's won back-to-back Gold and Double Gold medals to prove it!) and really makes these grapes shine in the warm, sandy soils she calls home.
