Rick Boyer Santa Barbara Pinot Noir 2017

The smoothest Syrah in California

    • Rick’s found the perfect 30-year-old vines for his debut Monterey Syrah. This is a big, rich mouthful of wine from one of the best winemakers in the Central Coast.
    • Great for BBQ fare, this red is full of cherries and berries. There's a delicious smoke element to it that reminds us of the juicy char on a burger.
    • Rick says this bold wine loves to be drunk with grilled lamb chops, marinated in olive oil and garlic. If you have rosemary handy, throw it into the coals for some seriously great flavor.

Aging advice
The wine is made to be consumed and enjoyed early in its life.

Serving advice
Should be opened, poured into a glass and enjoyed with or without friends.

Local food match
We have a local lamb supplier. Thick chops on the grill with olive oil, garlic and rosemary. If you have a rosemary bush handy throw a few sprigs into the coals to create some great flavor.
