About the wine
Easygoing red from your most popular winemaker
- Overflowing with flavors like brambly blackberry, wild raspberry and spice, this Zinfandel will easily become your ‘daily red.’
- Thanks to your support, Stephen harvested top-quality Zinfandel from head-trained vines that help the grapes ripen with just the right amount of complexity for a perfectly layered wine. “It’s all about the fruit,” he says.
- After a few months of oak aging for a little oomph of power, this Zinfandel is ready to enjoy. Stephen says, “Angel pricing cannot be beat. I'd call that a winner!” Zin-Win.
Best before
Last time we opened a bottle of my 2016, it was quite nice from the first glass through the last sip. I'd say it has certainly stood the test of time.
Serving advice
Open and give it a few minutes to wake up and stretch out. That little bit of space will make every glass after that taste better.
Food match
Sitting on my deck with a glass and looking over our garden makes me realize how spoiled I am. Enjoying this beside my Weber makes me think about grilled meats, eggplant and peppers. I hope you enjoy this good life as much as I do! Cheers!

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
