- This vibrant Cabernet is flush with rich, refined dark fruit flavors, like ripe, juicy blackberry, with a soft kick of toasty oak spice packed into the long, velvety finish.
- Sam’s got a lifetime of expertise working with the classic wines of his home region in Victoria, South Australia, and thanks to your funding, he’s able to channel his deep winemaking know-how into this Cabernet, crafted from a selection of vineyards throughout the region.
- This decadent Australian Cab has the perfect balance of lush texture and lip-smacking flavors to pair wonderfully with all kinds of food. Sam says, “It’s a great wine to have in the glass while you stand around the barbie chatting with friends and family.”
Best before
The wine has enough structure that it will age well over the next 2-4 years, but for me the pleasure will be in drinking it over the next 1-2 years and enjoying the burst of primary fruit flavor which characterizes the wine now.
Serving advice
Serve at a coolish room temperature of say around 60-64ºF.
Food match
This is a pretty versatile red wine. Enjoy it with any barbecued red meats. It's a great wine to have in the glass while you stand at the barbie chatting with friends and family.
