About the wine
Elegant, classic Cabernet, crafted with a Napa legend's special touch
- Rudy’s made a luxurious Wine Country Cabernet full of dark, rich fruit and velvety texture — while staying light and refreshing. It just finished barrel aging and will be ready to drink as soon as it reaches your door.
- Thanks to your support, Rudy made something magical. Harvesting fruit from famed Napa vineyards — and expanding to Sonoma and vines 10 miles north of Calistoga — he made you a top-shelf Cabernet at an unreal price.
- When a founder of Napa’s Diamond Mountain District releases a 2019 Cabernet under $20, you better grab it while it lasts!
Best before
This is not a wine to age: enjoy it any time in the next year or two.
Serving advice
With a few years of aging behind it already, you'll want to give this Cabernet about an hour or so to breathe and air out after first opening your bottle.
Food match
BBQ flat-iron steak and BBQ oil-rubbed artichokes would be great pairings with this Cab. The wine is versatile enough to go great with almost any meal.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Rudy von Strasser
Rudy von Strasser is a Napa legend — he played a huge part in founding the Diamond Mountain District, famous for its Cabernet. By rallying everyone in the region, he put the AVA (American Viticultural Area) on the map in 1999!
Rudy met Naked through Alex Farber — he was looking to expand his portfolio with some beautiful Petite Sirah, but didn’t have enough room in his winery.
Angel funding helped make that Petite Sirah possible. When he brought us his other wines, we knew we’d hit the jackpot! Rudy’s now able to share his wide range of Diamond Mountain District wines with Angels across the country.
