Best before
I expect this wine will develop well in the bottle for 3-5 years, but its quite enjoyable now. If you plan on aging it, I always suggest trying a bottle every 6-12 months to see how the wine's flavors are developing.
Serving advice
My sense is that this wine will open up fairly quickly after uncorking. Swirl it in a glass or use an aerator to speed it up. As with most other reds, I suggest serving it at around 60-65ºF.
Food match
This red would go great alongside seared duck breast with crispy skin or a grilled NY steak with Lyonnaise potatoes and sautéed broccolini. I think it would also be good with a big, juicy cheeseburger and fries or onion rings!
