Bold Portuguese-inspired red by way of California Gold Country

Best before
This red will be very approachable right away, but Angels will be specially rewarded if they lay down a few bottles for a few years. This Portuguese-style red blend will age nicely over the next 510 years.
However, if you choose to enjoy it now, you are in for a treat. But please be sure to decant the wine for 1-2 hours before drinking it.
Serving advice
As a young and bold red wine, it will benefit tremendously from being opened and allowed to breathe for 1-2 hours prior to enjoying it. I recommend pouring yourself a glass and seeing how it opens up over time.
Food match
Any Italian-inspired dishes will pair beautifully with this red blend, particularly red sauce-based dishes. I love an elaborate meat cannelloni, as it brings me back to Sunday lunches with my family (it is one of my favorite dishes!).
