About the wine
This Winemaker of the Year blend is limited-edition - the varieties change each year!
- This is a deeply delicious red destined for the dinner table with loads of dark, juicy fruit and spice.
- 2020's vintage is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and a lick of Cabernet Sauvignon. It was harvested from vineyards around Stellenbosch and aged in French Oak for 14 months to ensure it's extra deluxe!
- ... and it's the perfect partner for a pepper-crusted steak and fries. Think fancy with a splash of fun – just like Carmen's masterpiece.
Best before
I would suggest aging this vintage for 5-8 years
Serving advice
Decant the wine for 30-45 mins. You will be rewarded with beautiful fruit aromas!
Food match
I had this with "Malaysian Kapitan Chicken" curry from Marion Grasby recipe book. Curry's fragrant, sweet spices complement the wine just beautifully.
