Lacaze Azul 2013
About the wine
Top-shelf wine from one of Chile's top winemakers
- Jean Pascal had access to Chile's finest vineyards and a state of the art winery– he just needed the money and time to make the top-of-the-line, silky red he dreamed about.
- His day job is making the critically acclaimed Domus Aurea ($60/bottle) so he knows how to make a 90 pt. red that's made to last. This is a velvety blend, full of warm berries and spice... and it just keeps getting better with age!
- And thanks to Angel funding, you cut the costs of selling and marketing that wine, so you get it for this stunning price – it's still a splurge, but worth it!

Meet the winemaker - Jean Pascal Lacaze
- When his main client went bust this brilliant winemaker was left in a pretty sticky situation, thankfully we met him at the right time and with Angel funding rescued his delicious wine!
- Originally trained in Bordeaux, he is now an iconic winemaker in Chile, famous for his Domus Aurea Cabernet Sauvignon. Every vintage he has produced has got a 90+ rating and is dripping with medals and critical acclaim.
- Those wines sell for an average of $60 a bottle, now we have his very own range, exclusive to us, for just a snip of the price. All thanks to Angel support!
