About the wine
Plush, powerfully fruity Zinfandel from Sonoma's iconic Dry Creek Valley
- This balanced, ripe Zinfandel is jam-packed full of dark fruits from blackberry to juicy plum, with a refined, velvety finish from over a year’s worth of barrel aging.
- Your funding helped Montse harvest her choice of Zinfandel from an historic ranch in the heart of Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma’s world-famous hotspot for this powerhouse red varietal.
- When you want classic Dry Creek Zin, you go to Montse. She’s crafted award-winning reds for one of the region’s most iconic wineries – now she makes her own exclusive line of Dry Creek reds just for you!
Best before
This Zin is delicious now, but will age gracefully for another 5+ years.
Serving advice
Let it breathe for a few minutes after opening and serve at room temperature.
Food match
I love this wine with tapas, especially jamon-based tapas, paella, barbecue and all types of pasta dishes. Lamb also pairs nicely with Zin!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Montse Reece
-
Leaving Spain for Sonoma, Montse earned her stripes in the Pedroncelli family, becoming only the third winemaker in the iconic winery’s 90+ year history and the first without the namesake.
-
It was love at first taste when she tried American Zinfandel. She’s since become a champion of the distinct Zins and reds of Dry Creek Valley — resonating with the flavors, sense of place and food friendliness all reminiscent of growing up in Catalonia.
-
While she’s found a home with a big winemaking family, she wasn’t born into one so she never thought she’d see her own name on a label. With Angel support, Montse is fulfilling her dream to bring her wines to the table.
