About the wine
Fresh and vibrant Pinot from a beloved Sonoma vineyard
- Elegant and silky-smooth, this Russian River Valley Pinot is a fresh burst of vibrant red fruit with a barrel-aged touch of spice.
- As the former winemaker for Twomey Cellars, Daniel has the perfect Russian River Valley connections. It's Sonoma’s most revered region for world-class Pinot, and Daniel's made a single-vineyard version, just for you!
- For making it possible, Angels save $42 on a world-class Pinot made by one of the legends of the biz.
Best before
I expect this wine to age for at least 10 years with the proper cellaring.
Serving advice
This young Pinot Noir will benefit from opening an hour before serving to let the aromas develop. You will notice that it will continue to change in the glass as the wine warms and gently aerates. In my experience, this is a very good indication of how well a wine will age. I do not recommend decanting this wine, or any young Pinot Noir for that matter, as the variety is too delicate to benefit from rapid aeration. I hope you enjoy this Russian River Pinot Noir.
Food match
I love roasted free range chicken with pan-roasted potatoes with this wine. I also love grilled salmon with it.
