Rabbit & Spaghetti Barossa Valley Shiraz 2017
About the wine
Bold, luscious red that's loaded with cinnamon, spice, and everything nice
- Aussies call this Shiraz the perfect 'winter warmer.' It's full of cinnamon, mocha and LOADS of rich, robust flavor.
Adam harvested this Shiraz from exceptionally old vineyards in the Ebenezer and Kalimna sub-regions of Barossa Valley – swear we didn't make those majestic names up! They're the real names of South Australia's magical wine kingdom.
This decadent red was meant for a bowl of steaming-hot braised beef with mushrooms - bonus points if you cook with a few drops of the wine!
Best before
- Drink now but will cellar for 5+ years under the right conditions.
Serving advice
- Let it breathe!
- Decant before serving
- Use good quality wine glasses that make you smile (but never drink out of anything you are not prepared to break!)
- Drink with people you like, preferably by a nice, cozy fire - or a raging bonfire (it's a personal choice).
Food match
Great for cold weather drinking - so any hearty casseroles or one-pot winter warmers. My favorite is my mother's beef casserole with lots of winter vegetables and topped with herb and parmesan dumplings.
Contains sulphites
