Pierre’s been dabbling in all things winemaking since the age of 10 when he would keep an eye on the vineyard and cellar with his father. That’s what you get for being born into Champagne! His dream has always been to continue his family’s wine legacy.
Champagne’s under-the-radar grape, Pinot Meunier, is Pierre’s true passion. Pierre says Meunier packs a bit of extra punch. It requires a little more TLC, but he has what it takes to make extraordinary Champagne from this lesser-known grape. And with your funding, he’s ready to bring this variety to life.

Bruno was born into a Bordeaux wine family, so Bordeaux has been in his heart and soul since day 1. Traditions run strong – when he and his brothers finished school, they returned to the family estate and never left.
Bruno’s parents assumed ownership of their first estate in 1950. Since then, the Fontanas have acquired 14 estates across Bordeaux – including Château Clou du Pin in 1991 (on the hillsides of the Gironde only about 10 miles from famous St. Émilion!) – where Merlot is king. All of the estates are lovingly tended to by Bruno and his family.
With Angels in his corner, Château Clou du Pin and the other estates will not only survive, but thrive. Your support ensures the Fontanas’ place in Bordeaux winemaking history.

Born and raised in Left Bank Bordeaux - bringing you Médoc

A Médoc native in the iconic Left Bank of Bordeaux, Jérôme has been making wine since 1998. He grew up surrounded by viticulture and winemaking at his family’s estate – Château du Moulin Neuf.
He had classic French wine training before interning in Australia – where he studied winemaking in extreme weather conditions. That proved perfect for his return to Château du Moulin Neuf, where he assumed leadership – and learned to expertly adapt to the temperamental climate of Bordeaux.
Jérôme’s roots in the Médoc run deep – from birth until now – so there’s no better winemaker to share with Angels what makes this Left Bank Bordeaux region special.
