Mirko Sella is a bona fide expert of northern Italy, specifically world-famous Valpolicella, where he’s the third generation to make wine from his family’s vineyards.
When Angels voted to bring on more Italian wines and fund a Ripasso (a Valpolicella specialty) — all roads led to Mirko! With 20 harvests in Valpolicella under his belt, he’s ready to share his wines on the world stage, thanks to you!
Mirko’s wines are regional classics made with sun-dried grapes hand-harvested from his family’s vineyards: a powerful, concentrated Valpolicella Amarone, and its bold ally, a fruity Valpolicella Ripasso.

Michael and Anne Dashe have worked with many top wineries — Ridge Vineyards, Far Niente, Chappellet, Château Lafite-Rothschild, Château La Dominique — but have developed style all their own. Elegant, balanced wines made with minimal additives, natural yeasts, and grapes from small family farms are their signature!
In their urban winery on Spirits Alley (an old Naval Airbase in Alameda, CA), Michael and Anne are using non-industrial winemaking techniques that allow them to highlight the fruit and emphasize the wine’s balance — crafting California Zinfandels in a unique style.
Jesse Katz is a winemaking wunderkind who spent his formative years working with legendary names like Bordeaux's Pétrus (he even experienced a harvest at Screaming Eagle) before becoming America's youngest head winemaker at 25 with Lancaster Estate.
In 2009, Jesse launched his Sonoma winery, Aperture Cellars, where he’s already earned dozens of 95+ Robert Parker Wine Advocate Scores since then. He’s got decades of harvests before him and he loves the community you've built at Naked so much, he wants to make award-winning wines with you, too.
“Angel support is amazing," said Jesse. "Working with Naked Wines is a wonderful way to be creative and we’re excited about a growing partnership now and in the future.”

For founders Randy and Bradford Lange (themselves, identical twins), the success of the family's sustainable Lodi winery, wines, and vineyards is multigenerational — they carry a rich tradition as farmers and stewards of Northern San Joaquin Valley's wine lands.
The LangeTwins Family has vinted wines from their estate grapes since 2005, but they’ve worked with the likes of wine giants for decades — including Robert Mondavi — to establish new vineyards, experimental varietals and trial innovative farming techniques.
Now Angels are helping the LangeTwins Family cultivate an impact through their love of sustainable farming and support of a community. They say, “if you want to go far, go together” — they’re in wine for the long haul, just like you!

In June 2019, the Sainis – a 4th generation farming family in Dry Creek and Alexander Valley – opened up their first tasting room to feature wines crafted and made on their family land. They were forced to close less than a year later, following state COVID closures.
“We’ve closed our doors twice for crisis,” Mike said – for the Kincade Fire (Nov 2019) and now for the COVID-19 pandemic. With limited restaurant and DTC sales, the Sainis are inundated with wine, with no room to bottle future vintages. Cue Angels!
Lucky us. Mike Saini has a real passion for Sonoma, coupled with a truly special familiarity with every vineyard block responsible for the wines he makes. Look forward to a jaw-dropping introduction to Dry Creek Valley from a family who loves it most.
